Event Entertainment Hire, Built on 15 Years of Live Events
Live 9 Events began backstage with sound systems for bands and festivals
and has grown into a nationwide event entertainment company, supplying
interactive games, inflatables and attractions for corporate events,
exhibitions, universities and large-scale fun days across the UK.
Who We Are
Live 9 Events Ltd is owned and run by Colin and Molly. Based in the East
Midlands, we plan, deliver, set up and staff event entertainment for
businesses, brands, universities, schools and event organisers throughout
the UK.
Every item in our range is owned, maintained and delivered by our own
team, so the people who plan your event are the same people who make
sure it runs smoothly on the day.
Our Story
Colin started the business in 2011 as a one-man operation, touring the UK
with bands and orchestras to provide sound systems and technical support.
He also worked at local festivals such as Detonate, Splendour, Waterfront
and East Leake Carnival, building a solid grounding in how live events
really work.
In 2015 Molly joined the tours, providing photography for the bands and
orchestras. That same year, while working at the Didcot Festival, the
pair noticed a bouncy castle on site, and it gave them an idea. Within weeks
they had bought one of their own and were hiring it out to local parties.
The demand was clear. By 2017 the range had grown to include inflatable
slides, fun runs and assault courses, and in 2018 the business added
lighting and stage hire, updated its audiovisual equipment and officially
became Live 9 Events, a specialist in corporate event entertainment.
Today our range covers everything from action inflatables, climbing walls
and rodeo attractions to interactive and electronic games, simulators,
fairground stalls, fun food and fully branded, bespoke builds for brand
activations. The events have grown, but our approach hasn't changed: look
after the equipment, look after the client and deliver every booking
properly.

Meet the Owners
Live 9 Events is still owner-led, with Colin and Molly each responsible
for different parts of the business.
Colin
Director - Operations & Equipment
Colin oversees the operational side of the business, including equipment,
maintenance, development and the day-to-day delivery of events.
He also supports sales and larger event bookings, making sure the right
equipment, staffing and operational plan are in place for every event.
Molly
Director - Finance, Marketing & Administration
Molly oversees finance, HR, marketing and administration across the
business.
Her focus includes bookings, client service and making sure clients have
everything they need, from first enquiry through to event day.
