booking, venue or event, including insurance, method statements, risk
assessments, equipment certification and inflatable testing information.
Safety Comes First
At Live 9 Events, safety is our top priority. Our equipment is regularly
inspected, tested and maintained, and our team follows documented setup,
operation and pack-down procedures.
All applicable inflatable equipment complies with
BS EN14960 standards and carries a valid
PIPA tag where the equipment falls within the scope
of the PIPA Scheme.
Our health and safety documentation is organised below so venues,
event organisers and clients can quickly find the information relevant
to their event.
Supervision & Staffing
Responsibility for supervising equipment depends on whether operational
staff are included with your booking.
An attraction is considered staffed where operational
staff are included within the product hire price and the product is shown
on your quotation as “Incl. Staff”, or where
staff have been added separately to your quotation for an agreed staffing period.
Where Staff Are Included
Where operational staff are included, our team will manage the safe
operation of the attraction during the agreed staffing period.
- Safe operation of the equipment
- Supervision of participants
- Managing user numbers and safe participation
- Monitoring equipment during operation
- Monitoring wind and weather conditions where applicable
Where Equipment Is Hired Without Staff
Where an attraction is not marked “Incl. Staff”
and operational staff have not been booked separately, the equipment is
supplied unstaffed.
The hirer must provide a responsible adult dedicated to the individual
piece of equipment throughout its operation and ensure all operating and
safety information provided is followed.
Outdoor Inflatable Hire
For outdoor inflatable bookings supplied without Live 9 Events operational
staff, the hirer is responsible for appropriate supervision and ongoing
wind monitoring during the hire period in accordance with the safety
information provided.
Specialist Attractions
Certain attractions, including some rodeo experiences, climbing walls
and other specialist equipment, require a trained operator and may
therefore include Live 9 Events staff as part of the standard hire.
Additional Event Staff
Additional trained event staff can be provided where required. Staffing
requirements vary depending on the equipment, event, operating period
and expected participant numbers.

Inflatable Testing & Compliance
All inflatable equipment complies with
BS EN14960 standards.
Each inflatable that can be tested under the PIPA Scheme is fitted with
a valid PIPA tag (blue tag), confirming it has passed
annual safety testing.
You can:

- View applicable certification for individual equipment
