What is a Grab a Grand cash cube?
A Grab a Grand cash cube is a clear booth with powerful fans inside. One player steps in, the fans blow money around them, and they have 30 seconds to catch as much as they can. It's also known as a cash grabber or money machine, and it's one of the most popular crowd-pullers for exhibitions and promotions.
How does the Grab a Grand machine work?
Players put on safety goggles and step inside the cube. Press start, the fans lift the money into the air and a large digital timer counts down 30 seconds. When the time is up, the haul is counted, so it's easy to award prizes or keep a leaderboard.
Can we use real money or vouchers?
Yes. We supply money tickets as standard, but you can fill the cube with real cash, branded vouchers, discount codes, promotional tokens or prize tickets. Many clients add a single golden ticket or winning envelope for a top prize.
Is Grab a Grand good for fundraisers?
Absolutely. Charge a small donation per go and offer prizes for the biggest haul. The fast rounds and big crowd appeal make the cash cube a brilliant money-raiser at charity days, school fairs and community events.
How many people can play?
One player goes in at a time. Each round lasts 30 seconds, so around 40 players an hour can have a go.
Is staff included?
Staff aren't included as standard, and adult supervision is required. A responsible adult simply starts each round, helps players with their goggles and resets the cube between turns. If you'd rather we ran it for you, add a member of our team for £50 + VAT per hour.
Can the cash cube be branded?
Yes. Add your logo or campaign artwork with a Branded Front Panel (£100 + VAT), Branded Back Panel (£150 + VAT) or Branded Header Panel (£175 + VAT). Design is free, and our in-house team prints, fits and removes the branding for you. Please book early to allow time for printing, as branded items are paid in full when you book.
Can we add a leaderboard?
Yes. Keep score with a Magnetic Leaderboard (£75 + VAT), a Branded Leaderboard (£175 + VAT) or a Digital Leaderboard (£495 + VAT), and give a prize for the biggest haul of the day.
Is the Grab a Grand safe for children?
Yes. It's suitable for ages 5 and over. Players wear safety goggles, every round should be supervised by an adult, and the cube is cleaned and safety checked before every hire.
What space and power do I need?
The cube measures 3.5ft x 3.5ft and is 7.5ft tall. Please allow a space of 5ft x 6.5ft with 8.5ft of height, and a standard 13amp socket within 30m. It arrives in a flight case and must be used indoors or under cover on a flat surface. It can't be carried up or down stairs, so we'll need lift access if your event isn't on the ground floor.
