Access Requirements: Our iWall will fit through a standard single door, with a minimum access width of 0.75m. It cannot be taken up or down stairs, so lift access is required if the equipment is to be used above or below the ground floor (Please contact us for the minimum lift size). What is American Football Simulator Hire?
Our American Football Simulator is an interactive game called Touchdown, played on the iWall gaming wall. Players dodge, tackle and sprint to score in the end zone or defend their line, with a motion sensor tracking every move.
Is there any real tackling?
No. All the action happens on screen. Each player stays on their own marker, and there's no ball, no contact and no controller, which makes it safe for offices, hotels, exhibition halls and other indoor venues.
How do you play?
On attack, move your body to dodge and tackle past the defenders and reach your opponent's end to score. On defence, stop the attackers and steal the ball. The most points when time is up wins.
Do you need to know the rules of American football?
Not at all. The game is simple to pick up: get the ball to the end zone, or stop your opponent from doing it. It's easy for first-timers and still competitive enough for American football fans.
Can we play other games too?
Yes. Every booking includes all 20 iWall games, including football, tennis, disc golf, baseball and skiing, so you can change games at any time during your event.
How many people can play?
Two players go head to head at the same time, or one player can take on the computer. With games lasting 2–3 minutes, around 40 players an hour can have a go.
What ages is it suitable for?
Our American Football Simulator is recommended for ages 7 and over, and is just as popular with adults. Many games are accessible for players with disabilities, including wheelchair users.
How much space does it need?
The iWall and its play area take up 2.7m wide by 3.1m deep. We recommend allowing 3.3m wide by 4.0m deep in total, with a ceiling height of at least 2.5m. It fits through a standard single door, with a minimum access width of 0.75m.
