Access Requirements: Our Santa's Grotto cannot be taken up or down stairs, lift access is required if the equipment is to be used above or below the ground floor. What is included with the Santa’s Grotto?
Your hire includes a fully immersive setup featuring a inflatable grotto, Santa’s throne, electric log fire, red carpet entrance, nutcrackers, christmas trees with faux presents, 2x lamp posts, plush reindeers, Santa’s sleigh, north Pole sign, snowy ground, and a white picket fenced area. A 13amp socket is required within 30m for power.
Is Santa included in the hire?
Santa is not included, but the grotto provides the perfect backdrop for a Meet & Greet with Mr Claus. You can hire a professional Santa separately for the full magical experience.
How much space is needed for the grotto?
Our log cabin-style grotto requires roughly 4.5m x 9m, but larger areas allow for maximum props, queue management and fencing.
Do you provide staff to manage the christmas grotto?
Not included in the price, however we can supply friendly event staff at extra cost to help manage queues, support the meet & greet, and ensure a smooth experience for your guests.
Is the Santa’s Grotto suitable for outdoor events?
The grotto can be used outdoors if placed under suitable cover such as a marquee or sheltered area, however there is a small surcharge to cover the matting that is required to lie beneath the snow. We’ll advise on weather considerations and setup requirements for outdoor events.
How long does setup take?
Setup typically takes 45–90 minutes, depending on venue access and your chosen configuration. Our team handles everything, from unloading to styling the grotto.
Is the grotto safe and insured?
Yes. The Santa’s Grotto Hire comes with £5,000,000 public liability insurance, all equipment is PAT tested, and we provide risk assessments and method statements for your peace of mind.
Can the grotto accommodate large crowds or high footfall?
Absolutely! The layout can be adjusted to manage larger guest numbers, including queue systems, VIP entrances, and additional props for more immersive experiences - please get in touch with your requirements and we'll advise suitability.
